Girard Festival DAYS

July 29th - 31st, 2011

It's a wonderful small town festival where friends and family meet to share in the food, fun, entertainment, and atmosphere

Many local organizations will be there with assorted goodies to raise revenue and awareness; including the Methodist Men, Boy Scouts, Sports Boosters, Chamber of Commerce, Girard Fire Dept., Pleasant Hill Village, Music Boosters and more. Evening hours feature live entertainment on the main stage in the city park and in the beer tent on Friday and Saturday nights. Sunday evening is our famous "Miss Girard Pageant and Show" where we choose a young lady to represent the City of Girard for the next year, and we feature several groups of school age children singing and dancing, as well as other local talent. There are plenty of activities for children including rides, Kiwanis games, a watermelon seed spitting contest and a pedal tractor pull.
